Is it the goal of the Council on Foreign Relations to establish a world government?

The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is an independent, nonpartisan membership organization and publisher of Foreign Affairs magazine.

The goals of the CFR are spelled out in their mission statement (see the link below). Their agenda appears to be dissemination of information and influencing government policy.

Their activities, interaction with world leaders, and writing does not indicate establishment of a world government. If that is their unstated goal, they have a very long way to go to accomplish that goal.
