Which country is called the sugar bowl of the world?

As to my knowledge, the sugar bowl of the world changes (usually annually), as it is most likely given to the country that produces the most sugarcane. In this case, the current holder is Brazil (I have seen Cuba known as the Sugar Bowl of the World before).
