Who is salvino D armate?

Salvino D'Armate is recognized for inventing the first wearable eyeglasses. He invented the spectacles around 1284 in Italy. He was born in Florence on 1258 and died in 1312 . Due to the lack of birth certificates at that time the exact date of his birth is still unknown. He was one of the best inventors because he invented one of the most useful things in the world. He wondered if he could built a sort of machine that can help people's vision because he saw that other people needed it, so thus the scissor glasses was born. Of course it got improved like other inventions. He didn't make any famous travels. What inspired him to invent glasses was the view of other people having a hard time seeing things. My conclusion is that maybe his own vision was impaired. He was of course admired by other people and inspired them.
