When was link made?

Link, the iconic character from Nintendo's Legend of Zelda series, first appeared in the original game released on February 21, 1986, in Japan. The character was created by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka, and has since become a central figure in numerous sequels and spin-offs.
