On May 12, 1932, a truck driver named William Allen found what was left of Charles Lindbergh's first born son, Charles Jr. The body was found about 2 miles from the Lindbergh's New Jesery estate in a wooded area. The body was badly decomposed and had signs of animal predation. A cause of death was never established due to advanced decomposition.
