The group wanted to become more popular. The following they got in England, became enormous, and when "Love Me Do" became a #1 seller in Britain, they knew the U.S. would like their music as well.

They had been copying, and listening, and performing songs from the U.S. for a long while, still composing and performing songs of their own. They had talent, and it became obvious as the touring and performing in England, and Germany kept people coming back for more.

Their manager, Brian Epstein, and The Beatles' producer Sir George Martin kept on the record companies in America, until they finally agreed to record them in the States; and we loved them, YA, YA, YAAAAAAAAA!
