Glasspaper, commonly known as sandpaper, is used for smoothing or finishing surfaces by rubbing it against them. To use it, select the appropriate grit level for your project—coarser grits (lower numbers) for heavy material removal and finer grits (higher numbers) for finishing touches. Secure the glasspaper to a sanding block or use it by hand, applying even pressure while moving in the direction of the grain, if working with wood. Always wear a mask and goggles to protect against dust and debris.
