How much is one troy ounce 100mls 999 fine gold clad worth?

I have read that these bars are "ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS" I have my doubts though because even though they are not solid there is still some value there in my opinion. I would guess that this quote came from someone who deals in only solid Gold/Silver. Im no expert so anyone whos knows more please comment because I would like too know myself.
