How do you dodge the stone in Resident Evil 4?

Here's the thing when it comes to dodging attacks. You can only do it on Easy mode. With Hard mode wises, you might get a bit lucky and be able to Dodge an attack. Mainly, the characters automatically dodge on their own. I mean, this is what I've personally seen in the past. I haven't played RE 3 in a while so I might have to test that out. Okay, according to the files, if you are holding R and your pressing X, Jill/Carlos will dodge the attack. It doesn't always work especially if your on Hard mode. The files also say that you can press the action button, cancel, R, L, and whatever buttons they say. I personally don't do it that way. I mainly see myself dodging by holding R and pressing X. You have a better chance of dodging an attack.
