Maytag Washer Repair Tip

Several steps need to be taken before attempting any type of repair or troubleshooting on your Maytag Washer. Always unplug the appliance first. Electrical shock is extremely dangerous and can be avoided if this one step is never forgotten. Depending on what part of the Maytag washing machine needs to be repaired, both the hot and cold water may need to be shut off as well. To ensure all water is out of the lines, disconnect them and let them drain into a bucket before preceding on with the repair.
