What is marketing list?

A marketing list is a list of prospective clients (customers) compiled by companies that specialize in making these lists which they sell to people who have something to market (sell). These lists are usually lists of specific types of customers such as people who may be interested in buying a house or car, or people in a specific demographic, or many other specific groups.
