James Garner IS - he's still alive! - not gay. That is THE most idiotic idea I've heard since that ridiculous article you're quoting from claiming Paul Newman and Robert Wagner were - in Wagner's case IS - also gay.

James Garner was working or home with his wife of 55 years and his two daughters. Do NOT believe everything you see on the internet! In fact, don't believe practically everything you read on the internet.

Apparently he is, and along with Paul Newman and Robert Wagner - was an influential and commonplace sight on the New York gay scene.
