Where does Charlie Swan hide his house key in 'Twilight'?

Under the eaves by the front door is the hiding place of Charlie Swan's house key in "Twilight."

Charlie tends to leave the house in the morning before Bella. He tends not to be there when she gets home from school. So the hiding place gives both of the house's inhabitants the freedom to pursue their individual schedules.
