What are the only advantages of tradition?

It is impossible to say as some people live traditional lives and some do not. Tradition can be good or bad. If all remembered there ancestral roots the planet would not be like it is now. A good place to start is with American Indian culture and their respect of nature and the Earth. Another old tradition is forced marriage (not arranged which is different and usually has consent from both sides). All traditions should be remembered so we can keep the good ones and remember which ones did not work on a societal level. So one advantage is the opportunity of social and self improvement.
