JACA: J stands for justification, if the person feels his/her actions are acceptable in their mind (use phrases like If you do this, then i will do this) A stands for alternatives, does the person give you options to make things right to them. C stands for Consequences either good or bad. A stands for access, does the person have to resources to commit the crime (almost everyone has access to commit their crimes)
