Who was Saint Cera and what did she do?

Saint Cera of Ireland was an 7th century abbess. She is reported to have saved an Irish town from fires through her prayers, she established a nunnery and a monastery in Killchree. She died in 679 and her feast day is Oct. 16 and festival Jan. 5th.
