How does a medium work?

A medium is able to connect to the energies of the spirit using their own energy and chakras to raise their vibration to meet the higher vibrations of spirit. They can use claireaudience (hearing spirit) clairevoyance (seing spirit) or clairesentience (feeling spirit) to understand messages from spirit and communicate them to the sitter (person the message is for). It is their job to try to understand spirit and give messages to the people they're meant for.
