When cats ingest plastic objects, they are not going to be digested. If they are small and round, they will pass within a day or two. However, larger, sharp, or oddly-shaped items (plastic soldiers, for example) may lodge in the stomach or intestines and cause serious problems. Observe your cat carefully for signs of distress, and check the litter box to be sure it has gone through without injuring the cat.
