Do you have to pay monthly for Apple TV?

Apple TV is not like a TV service that gives you TV Channels like Dish-network, or cable Apple TV is a box that plugs in to your TV that will let you watch and listen to your iTunes Purchases. It will let you also watch online video services like Netflix. Though some services like Netflix will charge you.

If you are looking for something to watch TV on, such as ABC, NBC, Discovery, PBS, ext, this is not what you are looking for.
