Who is John Keegan?

John Keegan was a prominent British military historian, author, and journalist, best known for his works on military history and the nature of warfare. Born on July 15, 1934, he gained recognition for his books such as "The Face of Battle," which challenged traditional military historiography by focusing on the experiences of soldiers in battle.
