Is a Fisher dangerous to humans and small dogs?

A fisher will not hesitate to attack a German Shepard. Also I think if they are protecting their young they will attack humans. They have exceptional courage. I don't care what the experts say, as most of them have never had a face to face encounter with them. They are one of the meanest animals pound for pound you can ever image.
