Have you ever seen a elf or a dwarf in this world?

There are about five different types of dwarves and they occur with a frequency of about 1/5000 live births. I have seen about four in my life-time, lots more if television counts.

An elf (as far as I know) has no real-life equivalent and I can't claim to have ever seen one.
