Did the ground open up when moses throw the tablets?

No. I just had this bible lesson a few weeks ago in school. I remember because im in fourth grade,i have good memory. He got mad because the israelites Were worshiping a golden calf that his helper,Aron made out of gold earings. So he threw the stones to the ground and they split in two. Then he said "Those who still Belive in the triune God Come over here by me, Those who dont stay over there." Then God saved the ones who belived and the ones who didn't belive in him he destroyed :)
