Magnoliophyta or AngiOSpermae is the phylum of poison oak (Toxicodendron diversilobum).
Specifically, this phylum represents one of the two surviving divisions of seed-producing plants. Poison oak belongs in this particular division because it flowers and its fruits contain seeds. Also, around the time of fertilization, poison oak seeds produce a tissue called endosperm to surround and feed the embryo.
