How long does it take to drive 10 miles?

There are at least two factors that will affect how long it takes:

-- Your average rate of speed

-- The circumstances of the route (i.e. road conditions, road shape, amount of turns)

If the entire route of 10 miles is contained on one highway, it should take no more than 8 to 10 minutes.

If the route is within a city or town area where the speed limit is lower, or if the route is in the country with a lot of twists and turns in the road and a lot of stops and changing roads, it will take up to 20 minutes.
