Why is your rabbit tearing up the newspaper in her cage making a nest and attacking when you even go in to feed her when you know she is not pregnant?

False pregnancy - It's a hint - she wants to be (needs to be) bred. Some rabbits are very territorial and aggressive about anything that enters their cage. Sometimes it is a symptom of how they are treated. If someone is constantly poking them thru the wire or putting things (fingers, straws, grass) into their cage thru the wire they associate anything that comes into their cage as being an aggressive movement. That's why I no longer exhibit at county or state fairs. You never know how the public will treat your animals OR what they will try to feed them (cotton candy, pop corn, etc.)
