Why would a 2008 Hyundai Tucson Jerk when you disengage the 4wd drive lock. What could also cause a grinding sound from the back axle of the car?

You need to change the rear differential , Or disconnect the drive shaft from the rear wheel which is cheap and effective . but u cant go off road anymore , but the car goes very smooth and very fuel efficient after that .
