What ocean and sea does the Sahara travel through?

The Sahara Desert does not directly travel through any ocean or sea; however, it is located near the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The desert's northern edge meets the Mediterranean coast, while its western boundary is close to the Atlantic coastline of countries like Morocco and Western Sahara.
