How do you open tail boot on Volvo v70 with flat battery?

You need to pop the bonnet and get some jump leads and connect it up to the positive terminal under the plastic flap on the right hand side. Then attach the negitive lead to any metal part of the engine.

This will power up the car and you will be able to use the keyfob to open the boot to gain access to the battery.
