Can you use a Toyota 18RC engine to replace the 18R in your Hi Ace?

Yes no problem, I have changed my 12R to a 18R then to a 18RC everything fits no worries. I have a 1977 RH11 Hi-ace still runs well. With the 18RC head you can run on ULP no additives.
