Am I too young for a laptop?

Sure ...why not? As long as you can afford it and make sure that your son/daughter doesn't become obsessed with texting/Facebook etc. And make some certain rules like for example, I'm eleven my self I have a smartphone and my parents make me do chores everyday, and I have to have only a's and b's at school, and have good behavior. So make like a contract it really does come in handy . Oh, and if u don't want them to get in any certain pages on the internet, you can block them. And there's also a gps thing where you can always know where they are. So all that really does come in handy a lot as they get older, but remember its up to YOU and ur rules. And btw a lot of kids now a days have smartphones computers etc. So also if u decide for ur child to have one, make sure they don't use it during school or show it off because a lot of people do steal stuff . So make sure they use it at a proper time and take care of it. I'm guessing ur child is in middle school, so most of these things do occur. Hope I helped(: good luck:D
