Was the 10 commandments based on an ancient myth?

There is nothing available regarding this to actually be based on a myth.

The 10 commandments are probably for real as in actually having existed and being written down.

This does not have to be due to a God or not.

It may simply be a person that came up with the first laws that "his" society was to obey by.

Whether we believe in God or do not believe, the actual 10 commandments are not bad rules to follow.
