well you can tow anything. put a chain on it, turn on the accesory to unlock the steering wheel, pop it in neutral, and have someone inside it to hit the brakes, turn, etc.
Addendum:The industry looks at this differently. Most high end vehicles like a BMW are transported on a rollback, a truck with a flat bed that tilts. Even repossession agents disconnect the driveshaft of rear wheel drive vehicles that are "hooked." (I've confirmed that the 325 is predominantly a rear wheel drive. Some are all-wheel drive.)It is safe-ish to tow any car with a strap for a short distance, but wise to have someone in the towed vehicle who has done this before. It isn't advised to move a vehicle in this way for more than a mile or two. Although it isn't advisable to strap tow an AWD, at leasr without disconnecting the linkages.
