Hows the theorists John Locke Thomas Hobbes OR Jean-Jaques Rousseau's arguments validate or negate the novel Lord of the Flies?

Locke believes that the nature of man returns to savage when the walls and rules of society break. Clearly in LOF the boundaries of society are broken and it is shown that the boys do turn into savages, killing off two of their own and attempting to kill a third.
