What is illegal camping - squatting?

Illegal camping is setting up camp in a place where you have no lawful right to do so or a place where it is banned. For example, setting up camp in your neighbor's backyard without permission would be illegal, likewise, camping in an area where camping has been prohibited (for example, certain wildlife conservation areas) is also illegal.
