Robert La Follette was previously a member of which political party?

Robert La Follette was a republican senator, he ran as a republican in the 1912 election but he failed. In 1924 he almost ran for president Federated Farmer Labor Party but they turned communist, so he formed an independent Progressive Labor party. So the Progressive party is the last party he was with.
