How did the us become a world superpower?

Its ability to outproduce any other nation, the skill and training of its elite troops, it maintains a navy which is the largest and most powerful in the world, its air force is also the largest and most powerful in the world, its a technological super giant outmatching every other country. It also has the worlds largest economy being able to fund its military (being the second largest in the world) with massive amounts of cash.
