There are several 'best' grades, depending on whether you are grading clarity, cut or colour.
- Best clarity is Flawless or Internally Flawless (F) or (IF)
- Best 'colourless' grade is D
- Best colour grade for a naturally coloured diamond is Fancy Vivid
- Best cut depends on who's selling the diamond; many sellers claim that their cut is the 'best'.
