For Canada, the House of Commons lasts for no longer than 5 years.

Once formed, the House of Commons can last for up to 5 years, subject to be sooner dissolved by the Governor General (generally on the advice of the prime minister). If a Parliament were to reach 5 years from the date of its summons, it would "expire"-no Canadian Parliament has ever expired, all have been dissolved earlier on the advice of the prime minister.

Members of the House of Commons do not have term restrictions-they can be elected as many times and for as long as they can maintain the support of enough voters.
