The book John Barleycorn was written by Jack London. It was an autobiography novel about alcholism. London also has written lots of other books as well. The most famous ones are The Call of the Wild, The Iron Heel, Burning Daylight, Theft, The Scarlet Plague, Hearts of Three and The Valley of the Moon.
