Are adopted children harder to raise?

I will be very frank with you.

I was an adopted child, and I have 3 adopted siblings. Yes we are very very very difficult to raise. I eventually grew out of my problems but some never do. My advice to you is, if you choose to adopt, be very wise. I suggest a 100% closed adoption, and do not adopted severely neglected children. Also a warning... when they are older, I guarantee the birth family will come back into the picture. So be aware of that and the implications it WILL have on your family.

Adoption is a wonderful thing but don't go into it blindly.
