What does mean in math?

The mean is very simple. It is the average. You count the numbers all together then divide by how many numbers there are. Example: there are 5 numbers. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 add them all together 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 = 15 then since there are 5 numbers, divide 15 by 5

15 divided by 5 = 3
