What did Gavrilo Princip do during World War 1?

Basically, he shot Archduke Franz Ferdinandof Austro-Hungary, in Bosnia, part of a Serbian uprising. This led to Austro-Hungary declaring war on Serbia, so Germany got involved (they were allied with Austro-Hungary). At this point, Germany also thought they might aswell start a war on the other side, so they declared war with France.
