Which popular Christmas song was really written for Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving has launched a number of songs: Over the river and through the woods is best-known thematic song. It can be argued that ( Home for the Holidays) by Bing Crosby might actually be about Thanksgiving. Food is an abundant sub-themes, it seem to take place in a roadside restaurant on a major highway. There is no mention of Christmas in the song- or its customs- Santa Claus, trees, ornaments, even snow. All of the locations in the song are American. Thanksgiving is a uniquely American Holiday. On the church front there are several hymns dealing with Thanksgiving- No Thank we all Our God! and We Gather Together, two examples.
