Is a Skateboard allowed on the greyhound?

Greyhound Bus Lines just published an extensive list of items that are allowed or prohibited on their buses. Begin by reading here:

The list does not seem to include or exclude skateboards; however, drivers will insist that larger items including skateboards, be checked under the bus. Skateboards will not fit under a seat or in an overhead luggage compartment so the driver's decision is final. Expect to check your skateboard unless the driver specifically permits you to carry it on board.
