Who is a large animal vet?

In the United States, the most commonly treated large animals are horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, llamas and alpacas. In the Middle East, camels are routinely treated while in Southeast Asia veterinarians see a great deal of water buffaloes to treat. However, around the world veterinarians treat a wide variety of large exotic animals like tigers, elephants, Gazelles, etc. It just depends on the type of practice the veterinarian is in.
