Is there a fourth base in dating?

Dating wise, I'm not so sure about.

I guess that would be described as being first base be:

1) finding some you really like

2) asking them out

3) actually going on the date

and fourth would be

4) Being together with that person

But the "Bases" that have been used since forever are originally sexual or more physical.

-Fourth base is pretty much home plate. That's when you and your partner finally have sex. Sex being intercourse.

First base being making out and kissing.

Second base being kissing a lot more aggressively and leading to touch of the neck and waist areas. This is usually done under the shirt or being shirtless.

Third base pretty much leads to fingering and/or oral sex. Anything that gets the no-no parts feelings and sensation.

And then finally sex.

There is also a fifth base, but that is really just anal sex...
