Where were the brands Puma and Adidas come from?

Both Puma and Adidas were established in Germany by two brothers

• Adi Dassler (Adidas - a shortening of his name) and Rudi Dassler

(Puma.)

The two brothers did not get on with each other.

Most of their products are now made in the Far East. However, Adidas do still manufacture some items in Europe.
