What is done in Qatar about environmental awareness?

This is a very broad question.SustainableQatar is an independent, volunteer-based organization that meets monthly to address environmental issues relevant to Qatar. In April the Qatar EnvironmentPetroleumFair is help to address issues of environmental awareness among thepetroleum industry.Qatar Today Green Awards was created in 2008 to awaken the eco-consciousness in every Qatari citizen and resident. The country’s first Environmental Awards, its ultimate aim is to increase awareness and motivatebehavioralchange in relation to the protection and preservation of our environment.

The Qatar Sustainability Expo (QSE), held on the sidelines of the UN Climate Conference, highlights the awareness of the public and private sectors as well as firms, industrial institutions, and individuals over environmental causes. These are just a few of many examples of what is being done in Qatar about environmental awareness.
