Why does a 120 hp force outboard motor not expel water out the holes?

impeller could be bad, could of sucked something up into water intake, or if you frequently visit a lake that has zebra mussels or dock at a lake with them, they have grown inside the cooling system. if you dock at a lake that has them after you get them out trim the motor out of the water
